Description

The LaGuardia Airport Central Terminal Redevelopment project modernized the design of this historic airport and more than doubled the capacity of the outdated terminal first built in 1964. The new design created a central terminal entry to the airport, unified previously disjointed terminals, and increased passenger capacity by approximately 50%. The completion of the Central Terminal Redevelopment Project significantly contributed to the comprehensive redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport. This project came to a successful completion, providing New York City with world class enhancements that significantly impact  operations and the passenger experience.
